Pelle Pelle Supports Preserve Our Legacy's Community Events

As part of the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Preserve Our Legacy (POL), Pelle Pelle played a meaningful role in supporting the Celebrity Golf Event held at Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Course in the Bronx, NY on June 30, 2026. The iconic fashion brand’s presence added cultural weight and style to a day centered on remembrance, and legacy-building in honor of Jaden Hilton.

The event brought together celebrities, and community leaders for a powerful blend of purpose and celebration, further amplified by the subsequent the 8th Annual Music & Power Awards Dinner, founded by Shana Melius and Norman "Storm" Bell. 

A special highlight of the celebration was the recognition of Nadeem Waheed, better known as Daniel of Daniel's Leather, who attended the event and received an award for his longstanding contributions to fashion and the community. A true New York City staple, Daniel has built a trusted reputation among leather jacket enthusiasts and remains one of the premier destinations for finding authentic Pelle Pelle jackets.

NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and Netflix's Beauty in Black,  Actor Ricco Ross were among the notable attendees, joining supporters and guests in recognizing two decades of advocacy led.

Adding to the celebration's energy was legendary Hot 97 DJ Drewski, who kept the crowd entertained as the official DJ for the event. A New Jersey native, Drewski has become one of New York's most recognizable hip-hop radio personalities, building his career under mentors like Angie Martinez and Cipha Sounds before earning his own show on Hot 97. Known for championing emerging artists and helping shape the culture through radio and live events, his presence brought the perfect soundtrack.

Together, the day reflected POL’s ongoing mission to raise awareness around bone marrow and cord blood donation, health equity, and life-saving donor education, ensuring Jaden Hilton’s legacy continues to inspire action.
